Girasole Mendocino Charlie's Blend Red Wine consists of cabernet, zinfandel and petite sirah grown on our family's three certified organic vineyard sites. The cabernet and merlot provide a firm tannic structure and subtle herbal notes, while the Zinfandel offers up nice acidity. Complements of the petite sirah, this red blend is full-bodied with its beautiful blackberry flavors and rich mouth-feel. A touch of oak adds warm cedar and vanilla flavors and integrates the wine.
