Product DescriptionVinoUS Media Review
Bright medium ruby. Deep, slightly inky scents of black cherry, cassis, licorice, black pepper, bitter chocolate and menthol. Densely packed, tactile and sweet; a seriously concentrated, rather muscular Cabernet darkened by an inky blackberry touch of Petite Sirah. Comes across as riper and sweeter than the 2016 version, but still a distinctly chewy style of wine. Slightly rustic tannins--considerably tougher than those of the 2017 Merlot--are supported by just enough dark berry sweetness and vinosity to avoid coming off as dry. But this wine needs some cellaring. (Stephen Tanzer)
Wine Tasting Notes
Staying true to the Two Vintners style this is not just a fruit-driven wine, Legit explores a different side. Showing that powerful red need not be a fruit bomb but can be a focused blend of fruit and savory flavors. We gave it a name that reflects the quality of the wine but didn't take itself too seriously, Legit.
