Assembled in the very best plots of the domaine and made only in great vintages, Trimbach's bright-colored 2017 Pinot Gris Reserve Personnelle opens with a clear, fresh and aromatic bouquet of fully ripe white fruit with hints of caramel. Mouth-filling and round on the palate, this is a complex and vivaciously mineral Pinot Gris with stimulating grip and tension on the long and powerful yet also elegant, persistently saline and lemony finish. This is a superb Pinot Gris that luckily did not ferment to fully dry but to remarkable balance. This is a great Alsace Pinot Gris to be served with lobster, poultry or white meats. Drink 2023-2035.
