Product DescriptionJames Suckling Review
Plenty of lightly salted caramel with tarte tatin and apple crumble, but ever so subtle. Dried flowers. Delicate toffee. Full-bodied with an intensity of fruit and caramel, along with some crushed stone at the same time. Tangy aftertaste. Drink or hold.
Wine Tasting Notes
The Hilt Bentrock Vineyard Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay offers a seductive and inviting nose that is simultaneously alluring and elusive. Truffle honey, white raspberry, brioche and grilled peach. Sophisticated and mysterious. Perfumed white flower, but solid yellow and gold on the palate. Still tight and young at this stage, but already blooming in the glass. Fascinating dances between density and tension and then fruit and freshness. The type of wine that demands attention in the glass. Finish is full of sunshine and cold wind. A truly textural and unforgettable experience.
