From Sweetens Cove in Tennessee - introducing their first truly-allocated release. Sweetens 22, a blend inspired by the lineage of Tennessee bourbon and Scotch casks from Speyside. Features four different Tennessee expressions, aged 10, 8, 6 and 5 years, curated by Master Blender Marianne Eaves. An homage to the story of whiskey - and golf - making its way from Scotland to Sweetens Cove, in the Tennessee River Valley.
Aroma is warm mature oak, leather, sweet red fruit, raisin, clove, orange peel. Palate has autumn spices and toast, baked apple, chewy charred oak. Finished is a warm oak resin, hints of vanilla bean and ripe fruit.
