Intriguing aromas of rust, kirsch, dusty leather, crushed star anise, white pepper and li hing mui spice make for an earthy spicy nose on this reserve bottling. It's light in body and delicate in structure on the sip, combining baked earth, red fruit and a strong oregano touch on the finish.

Vineyard
Theresa-Noelle Vineyard Proprietors Reserve Pinot noir comes from the estate vineyard located on the western end on the Santa Rita Hills AVA. Planted to four clones of Pinot noir, clone 828, clone 115, clone 667 and clone Pomard, the vineyard shows distinct flavor profiles attributed to Dijon clones.

Wine Tasting Notes
This wine offers a wonderfully elevated perfumed nose of Bing cherries, rose petal and nutmeg. There is a bright cherry/strawberry nose, with a hint of raspberry, spice, pie cherry, sage and toffee that are classic to the Theresa-Noelle vineyard. Mouth watering flavors of cherries, strawberry, root beer, rose petal and toasted vanilla beans give way to the balanced acidity. The prosperous textural mouth feel helps to carry the rich and round tannins that follow through long into the finish. On the palate, the wines open with beautiful red fruit and floral aromatics, giving way to a full bodied wine with complex fruit, herb and oak profiles. Very complex, rich and lush - with a power that shows little restraint!
