The 2025 Massican Annia is a beguiling white blend, lean and layered at just 11.8% ABV, yet richly complex. From the moment it's poured, a subtle, flinty-smoky reduction greets the nose, leading into fragrant cascades of white flowers, honeysuckle, ripe yellow apple, and poached pear. On the palate, grapefruit emerges with both richness and density, threaded through with sea?spray salinity—as if pink Himalayan salt had washed the shore - while crisp, zesty acidity brings lift and tension. Sourced from small vineyards across Napa and Sonoma, this flagship Massican blend comprises Ribolla Gialla, Tocai Friulano, Chardonnay, and a touch of Pinot Bianco, all picked and fermented separately in a mix of French oak and stainless steel, before being carefully blended six weeks prior to bottling. Founded in 2009 by Dan Petroski - formerly of Larkmead - Massican remains Napa Valley's only white-wine–only label.
