The 2022 Il Campo Rosso is a blend of Sangiovese, Aglianico, Barbera and Nebbiolo. It has deep scents of red cherries and plums, oolong tea leaves, dusty earth, orange peel and pipe tobacco. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with nuanced layers of red fruit, earth, spice and floral perfume. It has a frame of finely chalky tannins and bursts of mouthwatering acidity that call you back for another sip. It's wonderfully easy to drink without sacrificing complexity. Drink window 2024-2034.
