The red 2015 Allende is a perfect example of the style of this wine. It has a sleek palate with moderate acidity and polished tannins that make it very easy to drink. It was a warm and dry year that delivered powerful wines. This matured in French barriques for 14 months, and during that time, it was racked every two months. Drink now-2025.

Wine Tasting Notes
Intense purple in color with powerful and elegant aromas of soft minerals, ink, fresh mint, mulling spice, wild herbs, toffee and cocoa. On the palate, Finca Allende Tempranillo Rioja DOC contains ripe tannins and complex flavors of black fruit, licorice, coffee and aromatic herbs. Long and persistent, this wine will age well for 15-20 years.
