93The 2022 Isola dei Nuraghi Montessu is hauntingly dark with a slowly evolving bouquet of cedar shaving, sage, incense and dried black cherry aromas. It's surprisingly juicy in character yet silken in feel, with depths of ripe red berry fruits complemented by hints of autumnal spice and citrus. A tinge of graphite minerality adds lovely depth as this finishes potent and gently tannic. Drinking Window 2025-2028.

Wine Tasting Notes
A deep violet color, the Agricola Punica Montessu Isola dei Nuraghi IGT presents aromas of red fruits and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with black fruit flavors and soft, saline notes along with elegant traces of capers, rosemary, and black pepper. The finish is long and silky.
