The 2019 Finis Terrae, celebrating its 30th vintage with a new label, is composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot and 13% Syrah from Alto Maipo. This aged for 15 months in 75% new and 25% second-use French oak barrels. It is complex on the nose, with hints of blackberry, cassis, camphor, olive and subtle oak aging. This is slightly indulgent, with grip and lightly grainy tannins. The 2019 is elegant, flavorful and structured. Drinking Window 2025-2035.
Wine Tasting Notes
With a deep cherry color, the Finis Terrae showcases an intense nose of red fruit with subtle eucalyptus and spice. It also offers very elegant and discrete wood notes with clove. In the mouth it is very tasty and elegant, medium-bodied and succulent. Cherries stand out on the very long ending. Perfect for enjoying now, but can be cellared for nearly a decade.
