VinoUS Media Review
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Spring Mountain District is laced with the essence of red/purplish fruit, lavender, spice and blood orange. It is also one of the most reticent wines in this lineup, which is unusual for this bottling. I would give this mid-weight Cabernet Sauvignon a few years to soften, as it is quite nervy in the early going. There is a good bit of depth, it just needs time to emerge. This Spring Mountain Cabernet is sourced entirely from Crowley. Drinking Window 2025-2038. (By Antonio Galloni on February 2021)
Wine Tasting Notes
Robert Craig Spring Mountain Napa Cabernet is deeply colored, velvety on the palate and set for a long life ahead. This vintage is our best effort to date in terms of the color and intensity, and we expect this offering to age gracefully for decades to come.
88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc
