Product Description
James Suckling ReviewRated 91
The nose is deeply scented and giving, with aromas of blackberries, mocha and cedar. The palate is full-bodied with firmly integrated tannins and acidity, showing notes of bramble berries, blackcurrants and cigar box. Densely structured with underlying freshness. Drink or hold.
Wine Tasting Notes
With this Markham Napa Cabernet, the jammy character of Yountville Ranch Cabernet takes center stage, rounded out by Rockerbox Vineyard's black currant tones and the beautiful aromatics of Hopper House fruit. Look for aromas of sweet hay, cherry, graphite and baking spices leading to a lush, juicy palate of ripe, round blackberry jam and cherry flavors with chewy tannins on a long finish. Built to age, but easy to enjoy this dark gem if your idea of dinner involves slow-roasted meats served on a bed of caramelized veggies or mushrooms.
