James Suckling Review
Attractive aromas of dried spices and crushed berries follow through to a full body, chewy tannins and a slightly dry finish. Needs time to soften. Try after 2020.
Wine Tasting Notes
It has a vivid ruby red color. Intense and fine bouquet on the nose with notes of wild blackcherry, violet and a slight vanilla undertone. On the palate it is well-balanced andelegant with a slight initial tannic note. Ideal with appetizers, first course dishes with meat sauces, stuffed pasta or casserole dishes and grilled red meats.
