Product DescriptionWine Tasting Notes
The wine opens with dark and brambly berries, strong black tea and a host of difficult-to-pin-down aromas. There iss simply too much overlapping and nudging to confidently identify singular aromas. Is that coffee? Nutmeg? Chocolate? Orange peel? Who cares. The complexity is awesome. And thats all that matters. Then there's the mouth feel - the texture and balance speak volumes. Its big and lush without being gooey; its tannic and serious, yet still drinkable now; its tart, but not distractingly sour. And the finish? Long, long, long. This is a distinct pinot that could only come from our estate Sexton Hill Vineyard. And that's the whole point.
