Product DescriptionWine Advocate Review
Medium brick color. Intense nose of dried blackberries and cherries laced with complex aromas of coffee grounds, tobacco leaf, cumin and soy. Nice concentration of mature berry and spice fruit balanced by medium to firm, slightly chewy tannins and medium to high acidity. A more structured style of Opus. Very long finish. Drink now to 2020. Wine Tasting Notes
The bouquet of the 1995 Opus One is complex, with hints of cassis and raspberries and with nuances of well-integrated oak. Elegantly structured, the wine is highlighted by a supple and generous texture. Its rich, complex flavors show overtones of ripe fruit and a long full finish.
