Product DescriptionJames Suckling Review
Amazing aromas of tea leaf, blueberry, flint and light spice. Full body, fresh and very clean, yet finishes delicate and crisp. Complex flavors of hazelnut, chocolate and meat.
Wine Spectator Review
A lithe, rich and concentrated red, with dark plum, currant and bramble flavors flanked by Asian spice and mocha notes. Dark chocolate details fill the creamy and sumptuous finish. Drink now through 2020.
Wine Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-red in color with violet nuances and a very expressive, aromatic nose with outstanding aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberries and figs. Aromas of crème de cassis meld with mild notes of leather and dark chocolate, which are very characteristic of Syrah from Colchagua. The palate is well balanced with rich acidity, incredibly smooth tannins, tremendous structure, and generous volume. This Syrah announces from the first sip that this is a wine to drink nowor in several years. Its finish is long, complex, and very much in accordance with the nose.
