Wine Tasting NotesLumen Escence is the first orange wine ever produced by Lumen. We picked our favorite Pinot Gris at Sierra Madre Vineyard a few weeks early, which means it had low sugars and high acidity, then fermented on the skins for a full 12 days. The resulting wine is full of character: meyer lemon, orange zest, grapefruit rind and wet stone minerality.
