Wine Enthusiast ReviewRated 92
Vibrant, clean and focused are how this wine defines itself from the first whiff. Lemon verbena combined with yellow- and white-peach aromas bound around in the glass. The palate is zippy and refreshing, with notes of honeysuckle and more peach on the finish. It is a serious Moscato d'Asti, albeit a very fun one.
Wine Tasting Notes
This straw-yellow Luca Bosio Moscato D'Asti comes from a grape variety that has probably the highest level of complex aromas of any Piedmont grape. This vintage has an intense floral aroma, followed by ripe fruits, including green apple, pear and pineapple, on the nose and through the palate. There also are slight hints of acacia and honey. It is fresh-tasting, refreshing and nicely sweet. This wine is a great accompaniment to fruits, aged cheeses or hazelnut cake. It is also great as an aperitif.
