Product DescriptionWine Advocate Review
The Loacker Schwarhof 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Corte Pavone is an immediate and softly textured wine that is packed tight with black fruit aromas, tobacco and touches of exotic spice. This is a robust and full-bodied expression that covers the palate with thick layers of fruit intensity. The wine is fermented in Austrian and French oak casks using ambient yeasts. It then sees three years of barrel aging. The wine ends with sweet tannins and thick fiber that bodes well for a near- and medium-term drinking window. Drink 2021-2035.
Wine Tasting Notes
Bright ruby red, in the nose aromas of eucalyptus, liquorice, raspberry and black pepper. Well integrated tannins with a nice acidity. A Brunello with tremendous juiciness. The allrounder with durability!
