Wine Tasting Notes
Pale straw. This wine is a ripe, full-bodied Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that displays lifted passion fruit and grapefruit aromas, with overlaying mineral notes. The passion fruit and grapefruit characters are indicative of ripe Sauvignon Blanc from the Rapaura soils, and minerality is a fermentation complexity from the stony river bed terrior. The palate displays tropical, passion fruit and citrus flavors. These flavors have been emphasised by the winemaker, by controlling skin contact time and matching yeast to best emphasis the wines terrior. The wine has tightness and concentration of flavor that is balanced by natural fresh acidity.
