Wine Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-red with pleasant reflections of violet. Intense and covered, notes of currant stick out, wild strawberries, and pomegranate. Soft and velvety. Distinct characteristics of fruitiness come forth.

I have liked and enjoyed this wine since sampling it in Sicily a few years ago. The bouquet is fruity with a hint of tobacco. It goes well with pasta, lamb, beef and poultry. It can also stand on its own with cheeses and appetizers. I make sure that I always have a bottle on hand because guests who usually do not like reds, like this one which is so much like Shiraz. This is really one of the best for anyone's wine rack or cooler.
