Wine Tasting Notes
The wine has a medium ruby color and shows off the Zinfandel fruit with touches of blackberry, some raspberry and light rhubarb. There are slight herbal notes and a touch of white pepper from the vineyard, and spice with a hint of vanilla coming from maturation in the barrels. Fruity and slightly rich in the mouth, the wine has flavors of light blackberry and raspberry. It is slightly herbal with a briary note and a touch of light pepper. The wine finishes with a touch of tannin and crisp, fresh fruit with a hint of anise seed and some sweet oak spice.
