An exceptionally good wine, right up there with the fantastic 2007 Cask. Classic Rutherford Cabernet, dry, softly tannic and delicious, with herb-infused blackberry and cherry fruit. Definitively not in the modern style of fat overripeness, but balanced and elegant. Shows all the hallmarks of an ageable wine, but you can drink it now. It gets better and better as it breathes in the glass.

Wine Tasting Notes
Dark, ripe cherry is the predominant characteristic along with vanilla and hints of floral and spice notes. The mouthfeel is very rich and round with some sweet creaminess on the palate and a fresh fruit finish. Enjoy the wine now with an hour or two of decanting. Be rewarded further with a short cellar period of three to six years, or cellar seven to ten years and experience this wine at its greatest. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate grown, and organically certified.
