The 2009 Gala 2 Luigi Bosca Cabernet Sauvignon is blended with 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot selected from the best plots and raised in new French oak for 14 months. It has a lifted, powerful bouquet of macerated red cherries, kirsch, orange zest and graphite that is well-defined and neatly integrated with the oak. The palate is medium-bodied, with a grippier entry than the Gala 1, and the tannins seem a little drier and coarser to the finish, which shows a little hardness. Drink now-2016.

Wine Tasting Notes
The combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot seduces at first sight. It is a remarkably structured and elegant wine. The concentration of black fruit and toasted aromas contributed by 14 months ageing in French oak casks is crowned with a long and velvety palate.
