Wine Advocate Review
Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2013 Pinot Noir has an earthy nose of mossy bark, underbrush and fresh loam with a core of red currants, cherries and cranberries plus hints of black and white pepper. Medium-bodied, the palate is understated, with expressive earth and red fruit flavors and a pleasant chew to the tannins, finishing with appealing freshness. Drink: 2016-2020
Wine Tasting Notes
One of Marlborough's finest Pinots. The wine is mouth-filling and elegant, with aromas of bright red fruits complemented by floral notes and a subtle, underlying varietal earthy character. Lifted rich fruit and well integrated spicy oak flavors show excellent balance with sweet tannins and a lingering soft finish.
