Wine Advocate Review Rated 91 Matured for 17 months in French oak, 50% new, the 2009 Pinot Noir displays a pale to medium ruby-purple color, giving aromas of ripe cherries and raspberries over hints of dried mint, lavender and cassia. Medium-full bodied with a good amount of vibrant berry and spice flavors, it is well structured with crisp acid, a medium level of fine-grained tannins and a long finish. Drink it now to 2016+.
Wine Tasting Notes One of Marlborough's finest Pinots. The wine is mouth-filling and elegant, with aromas of bright red fruits complemented by floral notes and a subtle, underlying varietal earthy character. Lifted rich fruit and well integrated spicy oak flavors show excellent balance with sweet tannins and a lingering soft finish.
