Wine Advocate Review Rated 91 Similar to the 2013 Anniversary Selection, the 2014 Russian River Valley Chardonnay was brought up all in oak. It has a fresh, lively style, yet also has solid richness and depth. Giving up notes of buttered citrus, toasted nuts, white flowers and tangerine, this medium-bodied, impeccably balanced, classy white can be drunk today or cellared for 4-6 years.
Wine Enthusiast Review Rated 90 This Chardonnay is striking in its ability to convey marshmallow roasting over a campfire. It's full-bodied and lush, its rich fruit core of apple and pear seemingly dressed in clarified butter. That richness, however, doesn't weigh down the palate; it finishes with refinement.
Wine Tasting Notes Light straw color with aromas of tangerine, lemon curd, stone fruits, white flower blossoms, and a hint of butterscotch. On the palate there are flavors of white grapefruit, peach, toasted pecans with balanced acidity and mineral notes.
