Wine Tasting Notes
This Chardonnay is aged without oak and does not go through malolactic fermentation, showcasing the tropical fruit flavors of the grape. The bright acidity from the cool growing region of Monterey is prevalent throughout the palate. On the nose I get pineapple, bananas, lemons and a hint of coconut. The palate is consistent with the nose, except for the addition of a little lime rind on the finish.
