Made in the tell-tale Kirwan style (medium to full-bodied, lots of muscle, concentration, and thickness), the dense purple-colored 2008 offers sweet blackberry and cassis fruit along with a layered mouthfeel. A sleeper of the vintage, this 2008 remains backward and thus will benefit from 2-3 years of cellaring. It has the potential to keep for two decades.

Wine Tasting Notes
Reveals a beautiful aromatic complexity where mix the fruit such as the blackcurrant or the well ripe cherry, and the spice soft, the vanilla. The attack is fresh, lightly metholated, supple. The tanins appear progressively to give body to the body and to support a long final one finely wooded. If the bouquet already invites to tasting, one can satisfy his curiosity, but it is certain that the wine will improve itself in the years to come to obtain more pleasure.
