Wine Enthusiast Review Rated 92 EDITORS CHOICE One of the Vincent family's single-vineyard wines from its Chateau de Fuisse estate. It comes from chalky soil, and this shows in the initial tight minerality that then follows through with balanced pear and peach flavors, finally rounding into elegance.
Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar Review Rated 91 Light yellow. Nervy, sharply focused lemon, lime and mineral aromas are complemented by notes of honeysuckle and jasmine. The palate shows sweeter orange and pear flavors, with a sweet vanilla note adding depth. Manages to be both powerful and graceful, finishing with strong cut and minerally persistence. Reminds me a lot of a serious Puligny-Montrachet.
Burghound Review Rated 91 Well-integrated wood treatment combines with lemon, floral and green fruit aromas that introduce round flavors blessed with good dry extract levels and fine recision on the driving finish. As I expected, this has tightened up considerably now that it is in bottle.
Wine Tasting Notes This is a rich, powerful and age worthy Chardonnay the is incredibly complex from the nose of honey and vanilla to it's palate of layered orchard fruit, spice and lengthy finish.
