Showing surprising age for such a young vintage, this is a wine thats ready. It is of course, like all Charles Heidsieck Champagnes, beautifully crafted, with its toast and spice elements integrated deftly into the crisp fruits. A top quality Champagne, needing food for its fully appreciation.

• To the eye
  An elegant and precious golden hue with scintillating reflections of rye straw. A magical effervescence.
• To the nose
  The quintessence of elegance and complexity. The first impression is one of mineral notes that evoke sea bream, oysters and caviar. This is followed by the delicate warmth of plum brandy, that leads on to Mediterranean fruits such as candied apricots and dates. The finish is perfumed with acacia honey and evergreen.
• To the mouth
  The general impression is one of elegant generosity, a symbiosis between the tang of candied fruits, the crispness of white peaches and the sweetness of honey. A long finish in the mouth. The structure is firm and majestic.
