Along with the neighboring Pisoni Vineyard, Paraiso anchors the southern end of the Santa Lucia Highlands the perfect locale for growing cool climate, world class Pinot. The "West Terrace" occupies 41 contoured, alluvial acres on the mountainous Paraiso estate. Historically, many wellknown vintners compete for the grapes from these prized blocks. The harvest from these vines yielded exceptional purity in the fruit. A rigorous selection regimen in the field and in the cellar produced just ten barrels special enough to earn the "West Terrace" designation
