Product DescriptionWine Advocate Review
The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Helena Dakota Vineyard is slightly softer and rounder, and is civilized for a young Anakota Cabernet Sauvignon. Its deep ruby/purple hue is followed by sweet blackcurrant fruit intermixed with hints of wet rocks and gravel. Dense, ripe, and approachable, it should be consumed over the next decade or more.
Wine Tasting Notes
The Helena Dakota Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine with a beautiful, deep, intense dark ruby color. It has a nose that is very well developed with black fruits, spice and hints of licorice. On the palate, it is very complex, rich and heavy from the beginning with elements of blackberry, black cherry and currants, along with a hint of cumin. Persistent and lingering spice, with very fine and elegant tannins and a long mineral finish, this a wine that can age for 20-plus years.
