Wine Advocate Review Rated 90 The 2011 Pinot Noir Santa Maria Valley is also excellent, with a deep, rich and nicely textured profile on the palate. Some tart acidity detracts, but it has outstanding dark fruits, underbrush, Asian spice and minerality to go with a medium-bodied, nicely concentrated feel. It's an outstanding Pinot Noir to drink over the coming 4-5 years. Drink: 2014-2019.
Wine Tasting Notes Medium ruby-purple colored, meaty, earthy nose with underline dried violets, sage and white pepper. Black raspberries and plum, subtle spice box and forest floor. The medium bodied palate is fruitier than the nose, with crisp acidity, a restrained minerality and a rich level of velvety tannins.
