The 2007 Chardonnay Lowengang is a deceptively mid-weight wine long on personality and character. Ripe varietal fruit, spices, flowers and French oak are woven together nicely. This distinctly Burgundian Alto Adige Chardonnay impresses for its overall sense of harmony and poise. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2017.

Wine Tasting Notes
Brilliant, gold yellow color with a green shimmer. Very rich, complex, still quite closed aroma. Burgundian style with a delicate creaminess, some toasty oak and ripe tropical fruit. Touches of vanilla and roasted almonds. Quite rich, well-structured though elegant flavor, harmonious, with a pungent, fresh acidity to match the depth of the fruit and the oaky backbone.
