Product DescriptionMendocino is often overshadowed by it's famous neighbors to the south. It's too bad because Mendocino can offer Chardonnay that's as equally delicious. Chardonnay from Mendo tends to have more freshness due to the slightly cooler climate especially in and around Anderson Valley. They also tend to take less oak than the riper tropical style of Chardonnay from Napa. The result is a wine that's attractively priced and almost dangerously drinkable.
Wine Tasting Notes
Brilliant yellow gold in color with aromas of green apple and white peach backed by a touch of honey. The wine is round, full-bodied and fresh with an elegant creamy texture and a tangy finish. Serve it with a crab and avocado salad topped with cilantro and lime, or grilled chicken with a lemon and caper sauce.
